The Business Strategies Manager, Healthcare, has a unique opportunity to leverage your Healthcare experience and relationships within a progressive, growing company focusing on a huge, emerging space within the industry.

Job Summary:

Specifically, the Business Strategies Manager, Healthcare, will evangelize ReachLocal’s technology-enabled, full-service digital marketing strategies and solutions within the Healthcare industry and directly to National Healthcare Organizations, You will be working with the Director of Healthcare to build prospect lists and then approaching those prospects from the "top down" (calling on corporate stakeholders, typically Director/VP level) to communicate the ReachLocal value proposition from a global perspective. Once these prospects become clients, you will loop in the Client Services / Account Management team that will be responsible for the ongoing strategy and management of the online marketing campaigns. Your contacts and clients will be located within the corporate offices spread throughout the country, so you will be engaged in both inside and outside sales activities.

Competencies:

  • 5+ years of Healthcare experience
  • National sales experience strongly preferred but not required

  • Internet and online marketing/advertising experience preferred but not required
  •  

    Job Skills Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, hunt for and generate new business opportunities for the National Brands Healthcare team.
  • Evangelize ReachLocal, initiate, establish and maintain solid relationships within the Healthcare industry, and engender client growth and referral opportunities.

  • Responsible for new business related activities, from cold calling networking to attending trade shows, association events, client conferences meetings and industry functions.

  • Establish and cultivate new affiliate referral partnership opportunities farm resulting leads.

  • Transition and funnel new relationships to Account teams that will be servicing the accounts.

  • Maintain accurate and current records of prospects and activities in Salesforce.

  • Qualifications:

  • Marketing/advertising related experience
  • Extensive industry contact list solid existing relationships

  • Aggressive, hunter mentality

  • Excellent relationship, repoire builder

  • National sales experience

  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of the Internet and online marketing (SEM, social media, display advertising, etc.)

  • Basic Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

  • High level written and verbal communication skills.

  • High Energy and Self Motivated
