In this key role, we will rely on you to develop multi-year capital budgets for all Regional services as well as provide extensive input into the capital funding process. You will be responsible for leading a team of high quality analysts in providing sophisticated analytics and effectively managing relationships with colleagues in all Regional departments. You will prepare presentations, reports and briefing notes and provide strategic advice to senior staff and departments.  

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in economics, business, finance or a related discipline as well as a minimum of five years of financial management experience including budget and policy development and economic and financial analysis in a public sector organization. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  Less qualified applicants may be considered on an underfill basis. 

Candidates must also have exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
