Manager Central Planning – International Exports Group

The Manger of Central Planning is responsible for topline Sales planning. Develops an IEG OTB roll-up based on partner information. Manages interactions with partners to influence, monitor, and update partner submitted OTBs. The Manager will align IEG's Sales and financial goals with the partners' goals by aligning on various projections, market feedback, and historical data. Manages development of and gaining agreement to budgets, goals and plans that are consistent with the strategies of IEG and partners. Hires, coaches and develops a quality team. Fosters teamwork by building effective teams committed to organizational goals. Reports to Planning Director, MPA IEG
-Must possess the ability to:
-Topline Sales planning
-Own development of partner OTB, and partner alignment to their OTB commitment
-Integrate new doors, countries, and partners into OTB
-Aggregate OTB across all partners for a total International view
-Partner dashboard reporting on Sales, inventory, sell through, UPT, conversion
-Highlight the business opportunities and risks associated with the current inventory and financial position and actual performance of the business
-Partner with Merchants and Manger of Planning, Category Management to support assortment goals and product launch cadence
-Gain alignment internally and with partners on WOS by sub-brand
-Present analysis in MMMs, MBRs, MPC meetings and call out issues
-Develop mini-MPC meeting
-Lead and manage the Central Planning team in the development, analysis and revision of sales, inventory, markdowns and profit
-Ensure that the financial strategy pursued is consistent with the budget and profit parameters
-Maintain risk assessment models that are used to determine buy levels and maintain profitability to budgets
-Provide the leadership and the necessary formal and informal training, including one-on-one development, needed to produce a team that contributes consistent growth to the business
-Work with other areas of the business as needed, to ensure proper support and coordination of MPA issues including Procurement, Allocation, Merchandising and Finance

-5 to 7 years retail merchandise or demand planning experience
-JDA Enterprise Planning experience a plus
-Assortment/attribute planning experience
-International experience a plus
-Excellent retail math and analytical skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
-Bachelors degree or greater required, Advanced degree preferred
-Works well under pressure; able to manage multiple demands with competing priorities and allocate time effectively
-Recognizes the need for urgency and accuracy
-Demonstrated ability successfully leading a team
-Proven experience in leading and implementing process change
-Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
-Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and influence all levels of management
-Ability to think strategically and globally
-Ability to drive results through strong attention to detail in accurate and effective communication
-Strong Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel computer skills
