Manager, Claims recruitment

Specific Responsibilities

• Handle all classes of claims, from casualty management, engagement of external specialists and setting of reserves, follow up on development, investigation of loss to final claim settlement, and dealing with recoveries, where applicable;

• Examine reported losses promptly and efficiently and advise on the validity of the claim and the correct amount of the loss;

• Ensure correct preparation and prompt submission of reports on claim reserves, outstanding losses and claims statistics as required by Management from time to time;

• Responsible in the research for regional and global claim statistics and loss data;

• Attend to Brokers, Clients and business contacts and dealing with their enquiries promptly and efficiently;

• Provide training to Claims Executives and Claims Assistants;

• Assist in internal and external training programs; and

• Any other related duties as assigned by the Management.

Required Skills / Work Experience

• Minimum 7 years experience in insurance claims;

• Good knowledge of Asia Pacific insurance and claims markets;

• Good analytical and negotiation skills;

• Good command of English; and proficiency in a second language preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Degree holder preferred; and

• Insurance or claims related professional qualifications.
