ROLE OVERVIEW
The primary purpose of this role is to increase access and distribution to CME markets through the suite of products and services of both CME Direct and ConfirmHub. This will be accomplished through developing and managing the relationships with prospects and customers through the sales process to onsite training and support for end users at brokerage and trading firms. The candidate will be proficient in all aspects of user interactions with CME user interfaces which will initially include CME Direct ConfirmHub software. These interfaces support trading in OTC bilateral markets, submission to CME ClearPort, and trading in CME Globex. This role exists in order to ensure the highest level of user satisfaction when interacting with CME user interfaces to increase distribution and trading volumes for CME centrally cleared OTC markets and CME Globex markets.
PRIMARY DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with OTC Front Office Sales, TAPS, Market Operations, and GAM Account Managers to ensure that all Broker Trading firms are being properly on-boarded
- Ensure that Clearing Firm Risk Admins are properly trained on using CME Account Manager application for both OTC and Globex markets
- Assist sales and GCC in supporting users (education and usability) of the CME Direct desktop and application
- Collaborate with GCC to ensure that all market operations processes and requirements are being followed
- Provide regular status emails to the FOS, TAPS GAM and other stakeholders from time to time
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide on-site training for CME Direct prospects and production users on the functionality of the software and the different features associated with each software module and user role.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the bilateral OTC markets accessible through the CME Direct application
- Act as a subject matter expert on the CME Globex markets accessible through the CME Direct application
- Act as the subject matter expert on CME Account Manager (aka RAV) and its interaction with CME Direct for Clearing Firm Admins
- Collaborate with internal CME teams to ensure broadest distribution and software usage
- Collect summarize feedback from each user to enable future enhancements
- Provide timely call reports detailing user feedback and customer meetings
- Act as an advocate for use of CME Group OTC and Central Limit Order Book Markets
- Understand the ClearPort registration process, ClearPort RAV values and procedures and ClearPort Facilitation Desk procedures and operations
- Develop a working knowledge of CME Globex CLOB Markets, ClearPort OTC markets and ConfirmHub
- Develop working knowledge of how bilateral credit and RAV credit and eventually Globex pre-trade credit controls function as a full suite of risk tools
- Design screen layouts for users
REQUIREMENTS
- BA Required
- 10 years industry experience required
- Trading experience is required
- OTC experience is a plus
- Risk management experience a plus
- Ability to travel 10-15% of time
- Role with direct customer experience a plus
