Manager, Communications – Bath & Body Works

OVERVIEW:
Drive associate engagement within Bath Body Works stores by supporting critical company initiatives through multiple communication channels that build the BBW culture to motivate and inspire the field, leading to positive business results.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
Support a highly engaged, values-based culture through written communication and use of internal social media

'Understand and contribute to brand strategies and initiatives to ensure that communication is positioned to support the achievement of brand objectives.
'Create and stimulate dialogue using appropriate tools and channels to build BBW's culture, ensuring brand messages connect with the right audience, at the right time in the right manner to positively impact the associates' behavior and attitudes.
'Write, update and maintain leadership messages/presentations, and field communication vehicles such as newsletter, voice mail and store mail
'Set up, monitor and engage via internal social media used by BBW field associates, including but not limited to: Yammer, SalesForce, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, SharePoint and internal blogs/portal
'Develop cross-functional, field, and vendor relationships in a collaborative, team-based environment
'Assist in script-writing and production of video presentations with third-party vendors
'Manage all projects within budget
'Conduct competitive benchmarking and stay current on industry trends with an eye on what's next for organization

Support Events team in development and execution of BBW Events
'Participate in ideation for internal, field-driven events, identifying ways to infuse BBW's culture
'Provide support as necessary throughout each event

QUALIFICATIONS:
'5 - 8 years internal or external corporate communications experience; retail and/or stores experience preferred
'Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated experience creating compelling copy, speeches and scripts, and the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas at all levels of the organization.
'Understands the importance of brand identity, and the ability to incorporate that identity into projects.
'Passion for, and experience using and managing, internal social media, including but not limited to social networking sites (Yammer, SalesForce, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), blogs and podcasts.
'Experience working on a team, and understands appreciates the value in team decisions.
'Able to build rapport and nurture strong relationships to support inclusive, collaborative environment with peers as well as internal and external customers.
'Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who brings recommendations to the table.
'Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high energy atmosphere
'Highly flexible, able to lead change; ability to maintain focus and effectiveness during change and transition while remaining positive and composed.
'Detail oriented; Self-starter; Able to manage multiple timelines priorities
'30% travel required
'Strong PC skills ' Word, Excel, PowerPoint,SharePoint,

EDUCATION:
'Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, or related field
