Job Description - Provides technical oversight in the field of remediation construction. - Primary focus will be on executing field work related to pipeline abandonment and associated activities (i.e. pipeline tapping and purging, excavations, surveying, site restoration), under minimum supervision and direction. - The Construction Supervisor will have a strong understanding of construction health and safety protocols, procedures and reporting requirements. - The Construction Supervisor will be expected to undertake all aspects of field reporting, including health and safety documentation, data gathering, data reporting and internal recommendations within established guidelines. - The Construction Supervisor will be expected to have an understanding of the construction industry regulatory framework and HS requirements. - The Construction Supervisor will coordinate work and seek input as appropriate from his/her supervisor and the Project Manager, and the appropriate technical resources to make certain that the work performed is consistent with the project specification. - The Construction Supervisor will also participate in aspects of proposal preparation and work scoping exercises, such as sourcing and seeking quotes from subcontractors/suppliers as directed by the Project Manager. - The Construction Supervisor may supervise and delegate various tasks to junior staff undertaking field work assignments. - The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for mentoring junior staff in field construction safe practices, procedures and methodologies and basic reporting requirements. - The Construction Supervisor will be a self starter and project driver, anticipating and initiating field and reporting activities without prompting from the Project Manager. - It is desirable (but not required) that the Construction Supervisor have completed the Hazardous Waste Operation (HAZWOPER) training. - Experience requirements: 2+ yrs in field construction supervisory role or equivalent. - Project Work will be based in Central California.
