Strategy Corporate Development Manager - Pharma
The Challenge
Our client is a highly acquisitive operation, with international presence which seeks to hire a best in class experienced strategy and corporate development manager. Reporting to the Senior/Executive Director of Strategy Corporate Development, role will include:
- Work directly with senior management on strategic and corporate development initiatives
- Perform research on business opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, licensing deals and various internal projects
- Develop memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analyses and deliver output in a concise and focused manner
- Present and communicate findings to a range of audiences at different levels of detail
- Participate in all phases of the transaction lifecycle, including identification, assessment, due diligence, negotiations and closing
- Provide cross functional support to product management, sales, and other departments as required to support company initiatives on an ad hoc basis
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be currently working in a Corporate Development or Corporate Finance capacity with the following attributes:
- Demonstrable numerical ability through an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economic, mathematics or business. (min 2.1 Hons)
- Candidate will have min. 4 years experience working in financial modelling and appraisal role, with an emphasis on transaction services
- Strong report writing skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A professional qualification i.e. ACA, ACCA would be advantageous
The Client
Our client is a boutique operator in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Dublin 2.
The Compensation
The compensation is commensurate with experience to include a basic salary at market rate and a strong bonus element to the remuneration package.
