Manager, Corporate Finance, IRHP Redress Calculations
Key responsibilities:
- Management and Leadership of 5 direct reports
Team responsibilities:
- Confirming and comparing cash flows on both the original and replacement IRHP
- Confirming the validity and quantum of any customer testimony provided for consideration in the redress decision, in conjunction with the File Reviewers as well undertaking the customer file investigation, including
- Sourcing relevant data
- Modelling cash flows over the life of the IRHP
- Comparing customer testimony with Bank or other third party records
- Performing calculation of interest
- Performing assessment of customer restructuring in an alternate scenario, working closely with Relationship managers
- Preparing appropriate customer communications to explain redress decisions to the customers
- Acting as a credible, respected key contact and actively manage stakeholders expectations
Essential:
- SME Market Exposure (small-medium corporate clients)
- Qualified accountant
- 2-3 years experience in managing a team within a large bank/consultancy
- Strong Excel and other Microsoft tools skills
- Corporate Banking or Interest Hedging Products Exposure (preferable)
- Advanced analytical skills
- Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good team worker
- Ability to operate effectively within an environment of change
- Confident to operate independently and demonstrate flexibility
