Manager, Corporate Recruiting
Job Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:
The Recruiting Manager will develop recruiting strategies in support of functional business objectives. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for establishing strategies, processes and programs to enable talent acquisition at RadioShack Corporation. In this role the Recruiting Manager is accountable for establishing and developing effective working relationships with the functional business leaders through effective communication and partnerships and leading and managing the recruitment and staffing process. The Recruiting Manager drives the initiatives to attract, recruit, hire and retain great talent for RadioShack Corporation.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Manage and mentor a team of corporate recruiters
* Partner with hiring managers to develop staffing strategy for current and future needs.
* Participate in strategic staffing initiatives including compensation guidelines, workflow, and process improvement.
* Conduct regular business partners' meetings to educate on recruiting best practices, market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools.
* Responsible for project management and business development for areas of responsibility including strategic manpower initiatives by hiring candidates in support of organizational needs.
* Responsible for holding hiring managers accountable for recruiting processes including timely feedback, recruiting partnerships, driving metrics (time to fill, cost per hire, interview to placement ratio) and their adherence to interviewing guidelines.
* Create sourcing strategy for open positions. Source candidates through cold calling, networking, career fairs, Internet postings, on-campus recruiting, and employee referrals.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
Requirements
* Bachelors degree
* Must have 7+ years experience with full life cycle recruiting including demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research and cold calling
* Previous management experience
* Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
* Strong problem solving by proactively driving results and being solution oriented
* Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service skills and work in a large, team environment
* Able to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner - executive presence
