Manager – Corporate/Fund Administration

The Opportunity

Our client, a well established financial services firm with operations worldwide, has a rare opportunity for a Manager to join their London office on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Senior Director, you will be responsible for managing a team handling the day to day administration for a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate Fund clients. This team works alongside the accounting team, the Manager of which you will work closely with. You will be reviewing client structures, being aware at all times of risk exposure, ensuring the team highlight and report unusual transactions, whilst acting as a 'B' signatory. You will be attending client meetings, and taking detailed minutes during these meetings. You will also be carrying out appraisals for those in your team, and overseeing their professional development within the business. Likewise, you will be attending client meetings, taking minutes at a highly detailed level.

Your Profile

The client is looking to meet with candidates who have 5-7 years experience within the Trust/Fund Administration space. Solid knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate structures from a Fund/Corporate Administrator perspective (as opposed to an accounting perspective) is essential. Please note. This is not an accounting role. The client is not looking for an accountant. If you have come from a legal/trust background and have studied ICSA, this would be a distinct advantage. But paramount, is your knowledge and experience of PE/RE structures. The client is open to meeting with candidates who are looking for their first supervisory position, or those looking to step up from the supervisor level to the Manager level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Likewise is the ability to work, as well as motivate others to work to tight deadlines.
