Manager Custody Operations recruitment

Deliverables and responsibilities include:

• Manage team of associates in meeting the needs of financial advisors by processing all activity (pricing, corporate actions, dividend processing, asset-setup/ maintenance, trade processing and corrections, and all other related custody operations activity) with accuracy, speed, and high service touch.
• Execute an aggressive people agenda to increase employee engagement and accelerate the pace of people development.
• Manage activity using key metrics and employ strong controllership through clear, frequently maintained, comprehensive procedure documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other business functions to build internal processes that meet the needs of financial advisors and their clients.
• Ensure strong adherence to Federal, State, and all applicable regulatory agencies regarding risk management policies and execution of key operating procedures in accordance with stated control practices.
• Oversee the implementation of process improvements to reduce cycle time and or risk in all daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes.

Required qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree.
• 5+ years of Operations experience in the Financial Securities Industry.
• Strong track record of leadership and leading highly engaged business units.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in a variety of roles bringing strong facilitative leadership to projects and processes
• Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, report and communicate data effectively.

Preferred qualifications:
• Subject matter expert in Custody Operations, Securities Accounting, Operational Audits, and Investment Industry Reporting technologies, processes, vendors, best practices, and general requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast paced environment and can effectively prioritize, manage, and identify risk.
