NAB Wealth's Self Managed Super offer is a comprehensive, end-to-end self managed super service for both new and existing SMSFs.
As a Senior member of the SMSF team, the role of Manager ? Data Support has a strong focus on promoting the full superMate capability to ensure operations are working at an optimal level. With a significant focus on reviewing and analysing information for key stakeholders, and enhancing or improving the current processes to ensure they are efficient and the information is accurate, there will also be a strong emphasis on enhancing operational capabilities and a requirement to analyse opportunities that will further enhance end-to-end processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing solutions in relation to daily data loads and 'fixes', removal of duplicates and other ongoing maintenance to ensure continuous support and improvement in relation to the organisation's Self Managed Super Funds
- Creation, delivery and training of process improvements in relation to the core accounting system (superMate)
- Apply tight expenditure control and financial responsibility;
- Daily error handling (identification and resolution);
- Level 1 support of Financial Statements team. Initial problem analysis, resolution, escalation to Technology (if required) and implementation support;
- Review, analysis, testing and tracking of TPRs, removing need for Accountants in BAU to manage
- Support SMSF Accounting Team with issues highlighted in production (high likelihood ongoing issues will be identified needing Technology resolution)
- Establish best practice solutions and recommendations
- Maintain Technology priorities and management of issues
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong relevant experience in administration of SMSFs
- Strong superMate experience
- Experience dealing with external service providers software providers
- Track record of successfully leading change
- History of successfully influencing and dealing with internal and external partners at a senior level
- Understanding of performance targets and measurement
- Good understanding of the key drivers of the SMSF business
- Significant people management experience
- Significant experience in Financial Services including a high level of knowledge of SMSF administration and reporting
