Manager Desktop and Voice Support recruitment
Responsible for:
- Management of front line Equity Brokerage Desktop support team
- Management and control of Voice Audio Technology, including oversight of outsourced services
- Build and Rollout of Desktops
- Management and support of mobile devices
- Management and support of Market Data services (Bloomberg)
- Oversight of invoices for monthly telecommunication charges
- Ensure that Desktop issues are followed up in a timely manner and status is communicated back to end user
- Management and planning of high profile presentations, including for roadshows and client forums
Skills Required:
Should have 7 to 10 years relevant Desktop Support and Voice Technology within a financial institution and experience of supporting a trading desk environment:
- Deep technical understanding of Voice and dealer board Technology
- Proven Desktop Technical skills
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Applications
- Knowledge of Networks an advantage
- First rate communication skills and ability to provide support at CEO and senior management level
- First rate analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to think fast, respond under pressure and willing to work in a fast pace environment
- Willingness to work early morning / late shifts
- Strong understanding supporting “morning call” conference calls on a trading floor
Additional: Any experience with BT Turrets, ClearOne Voice systems, IPC, Nortel – big plus
Qualifications:
Graduate Qualification preferred
