Manager, Digital Advertising Operations
This position requires a strong combination of technical, communications and management skills. Candidate should possess the ability to think and plan strategically, train and manage a team of campaign managers, have the technical knowledge to work in the trenches, optimize campaigns and handling issues as they arise. This individual should be capable of managing the daily operations of the department and troubleshooting all campaign issues.
The Manager, Digital Advertising Operations overall responsibilities include overseeing advertising operation activities including ad campaign implementation (DFP/DNB), contract/order management (DSM), billing reconciliation, and sales/client support. The candidate will be ultimately responsible for managing the processes to ensure full revenue recognition.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize advertising operations processes and manage the daily operations of the team
- Review all proposals in DSM, for approval/rejection - proactively seize any potential issues
- Optimize ad campaigns to insure full revenue recognition
- Work closely with finance, web ops, technology, and product development teams to troubleshoot and resolve all internal and external issues associated with advertisements
- Become WWE digital ad product expert, capable of responding to questions from all levels of the organization with accuracy
- Ensure all advertising specifications are current and up to date
- Build functioning relationships with 3rd party rich media vendors, and various ad servers, to set-up, manage and report on advertising campaigns
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience in ad operations
- 1+ year managerial experience leading a team of campaign managers
- Intimate knowledge of DoubleClick – DFP/DSM (required), mobile and video product knowledge desired
- Familiarity with salesforce.com, Omniture, DMP’s, and SSP’s
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Flash, video players, and other various forms of rich media online creative formats and related code
- Expert Excel skills. Proficient in Word and PowerPoint
- Bachelors degree
