The Manager of Digital Marketing and Monetization will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts, to include marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, social media and other channels, to grow the site traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue. This role will autonomously negotiate promotional opportunities and create comprehensive marketing proposals. Strong writing skills are critical, as this role will schedule, produce, update and manage content on category pages, to ensure a high quality customer experience.
Job Description
- Formulate business cases, product specs and roll-out plans for website projects that align with business objectives. Establish KPI's and targets for all projects
- Work closely with design team to formulate and document the product requirements
- Manage priorities and monitor progress throughout the web development process.
- Own the results. Analyze performance metrics and use them to influence decision-making about the future of the feature. Work to continuously improve/promote offerings and optimize response/ROI.
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of outstanding experience in broad, cross functional, consumer marketing with at least 3 years experience managing consumer-facing websites
- Work closely with engineering to develop business requirements and deliver world-class consumer marketing
- Partner with Research Insights team to improve targeting, tracking, reporting, and optimization
- Manage and inspire team
- Ability to take ownership of an opportunity and deliver against business objectives
- Strong track record of success and results in previous roles
- Excellent understanding of Internet-based consumer behavior and direct marketing
- Comfortable working in a very analytics driven business
- Ability to operate at an extremely fast pace
- Game Marketing experience a plus, but not required
- Start-up, games and/or social media experience a strong plus
- Previous experience with SEO and user acquisition is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Hands-on business analytics experience and proven ability to use analytics to drive development of business cases and product strategy
- Hands-on product owner experience in Agile/Scrum development processes is desirable

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
