Manager, EDI – Business Process & Analysis
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Business Process Analysis for the WHEAS Supply Chain Management department. The Manager, Business Process Analysis is the subject matter expert for all interactions between WHEAS and retail customers worldwide. The role is responsible for determining, understanding, identifying, documenting and approving business process and functional requirements. He/she defines current and future operational scenarios, communicating with the client, Development, QA, Executive and the 3rd party service provider team(s) to ensure proper translation of business requirements to application requirements and delivery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages communications with retail customers and ensures priorities are managed.
- Conducts functional impact analysis for new capabilities and for changes to existing capabilities.
- Determines, measures, evaluates and prioritizes process improvements and makes recommendations for changes.
- Reviews and approvals requirements for process and functional business requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing the creation of the Business Blueprint process design.
- Reviews functional design prototypes and specifications.
- Ensures and assigns tasks for process designs including process measurement KPIs and ownership of each KPI (Business User or MIS).
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring and approving development of the business scenarios for testing, and Test Plans with a focus on Integration, Regression and User Acceptance testing.
- Vets user enhancement requests with supervisor to ensure validity.
- Audits the business process after implementation to ensure it is operating as designed.
- Reviews dashboards to monitor process and end user productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Entertainment industry or FMCG experience is desirable.
- Experience working with retail customers including buyers and IT personnel.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a business analyst / business process definition role working with key clients.
- Familiarity working in a 3rd party service provider work arrangement is desirable.
- Specific understanding SAP sales and distribution, accounts receivable and EDI is required.
- Prior experience in defining and developing systems requirements.
- Knowledge of production planning and inventory management processes in a contract manufacturing business model.
- Knowledge of integration design and controls between manufacturers and retail customers.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP-SD/ AR.
- Business process design and modeling.
