We are seeking strong Technical and Management Staff to join the IMG Systems Integration team ('SI'). SI partners with Kaiser Permanente Business IT teams to understand their needs provide integrated technology solutions that span across the organization. We develop full applications as well as extensions to vendor-developed applications. We currently have an opening for a Manager, eHIE Infrastructure, a position that directly reports to the Senior Manager / Director of System Integration - Technology Integration and Engineering Services, Emerging Technologies within IMG. The Program Manager is responsible for successful and timely completion and delivery of Infrastructure solutions to one or more strategic emerging technology programs such as the Enterprise Health Information Exchange (eHIE). eHIE is Kaiser Permanente's collaboration with industry-leading healthcare systems to securely exchange electronic health data in a standards-based approach that protects patient confidentiality. Duties of the Manager, eHIE Infrastructure: - Key point of contact, integration and escalation between the business sponsor, Business Segment Partners, and the other KPIT Groups. - Ensure adoption of standard, effective and compliant project delivery methodologies and the management of project issues, key metrics, and operational constraints across the program. - Implement Program Framework in conjunction with KP methodology including status reporting and metrics - Develop and manage Program plans - Implement Risk Management plan - Produce all Program artifacts on time/with quality - Implement Scope Change Mechanism to manage Program Scope - Develop Charter document and ensure Program Scope is clearly defined - Produce executive-level communication to Program stakeholders Qualifications: This position requires a highly experienced, seasoned, and results-driven IT professional who is extremely collaborative and accustomed to working within a matrix organizational structure. The following basic qualifications and skills are required: - Minimum of 10-15 years experience leading and managing IT projects in a highly diverse and complex environment - Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of work experience - Strong Program Management skills-managing large complex IT infrastructure programs - Self-starter, independent, results-oriented - Experience in directing and managing a staff of project managers and project teams with responsibility of Delivery as well as Production support. - Strong leadership, team building, and coaching/mentoring skills - Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple, diverse concurrent projects - Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Highly skilled in client relationship management - Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred) Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience with project delivery in the Kaiser Permanente enterprise is strongly preferred - PMI certification or equivalent - Experience across multiple healthcare disciplines with an emphasis on care delivery applications - Master Degree
