Job Description Architects, Engineers and Project Managers AECOM is looking for qualified architects, engineers and project managers for "future deployments" of a minimum 90 days to locations throughout the U.S. to aid in FEMA recovery operations. The primary duties are to assess and document disaster damages, develop and review work scope required to repair/upgrade/rebuild public facilities and develop cost estimates for this work. Candidates are required to have previous FEMA public assistance experience and those candidates willing to deploy for longer assignments are preferred. Reasonable airfare, hotel, rental car plus per diem for meals and miscellaneous expenses paid at government rates. Assignment allows travel home approximately once per month for a long weekend. 50-70 hours per week are expected. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field - A minimum three years of related experience - Significant building or infrastructure design or construction experience a plus - Must be a United States citizen Qualified candidates will be self motivated team players with good communication skills. Applicants selected will be subject to a detailed government security investigation and must have a valid driver's license to meet FEMA requirements. Compensation is dependent upon level of experience.
