MANAGER, ENTERPRISE SYSTEM - PEOPLESOFT

The Manager, Enterprise Systems is a senior member of the Enterprise team and has responsibility for the Enterprise-wide software application portfolio. The primary duties of this position are leading the development, maintenance and support of Peoplesoft. The Manager and his/her team are responsible for maintaining relevant software code, including related aspects of technical design and development. Additional responsibilities can include managing projects and developing project specifications and schedules, working with business users to document process flows and business logic, and translating these into actionable requirements for technical development.

The successful candidate will work with business partners from all areas of the organization but especially Business Application owners, Master Data Management, Data Group Owners, Application Management Support, Network and Infrastructure support personnel and external hosting and application support vendors. The Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems.

This person will be leading a team of up to 7 Technology resources.

Requirements:

Must have previous people management experience

Minimum 8 years experience with Oracles PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (v7.5 or later) with experience in most if not all modules (GL, AR, BI, GM, TR, PC, AM, AP, CA, PO, AUC, SCMT, ES, GVC, MPA, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management). Preference will be given to experience in international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), non-profit research organizations and research-based educational institutions.
Minimum 8 years experience with PeopleTools, Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, XML Publisher, SQR, Crystal Reports and nVision. Experience with Integration Broker and PeopleSoft portal configuration and maintenance a plus.
Proven ability to manage projects that consist of developing enhancements, migrating legacy data, integrating enterprise systems and organizing and developing complete applications within the PeopleTools framework. Preference will be given to experience managing, testing and deployment of multiple major upgrades and integration of Peoplesoft using Enterprise Integration tools such as IBMs Cast Iron/Websphere.
Demonstrated understanding of factors that influence application performance, scalability and usability. Familiarity with related industry standards and technical best practices and, as needed, the ability to translate these to the enterprise.
Experience supporting enterprise systems in a Software as a Service (SaaS) or hosted environment with a preference for familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft Human Resources, Salesforce CRM, Ceridian Human Resources, Payroll and LMS, SharePoint and Documentum.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams addressing enterprise-wide business problems with integrated solutions that include commercial off-the-shelf applications, databases and business intelligence tools, data and business intelligence automation.
Manage the activities of third-party technical consultants and vendors, as needed. Monitor progress, direction, and status, ensuring that deliverables are appropriately addressing identified requirements.
Function as the technical lead to support Operations and Program organizations who are users of Enterprise systems and consumers of Enterprise information. Work closely and collaboratively with the business areas representing these key functions to establish and evangelize governance plans tailored to fit business needs and culture.
Lead relevant application development efforts in support of PeopleSoft applications. Assume primary responsibility and provide support for those applications, including supervision of routine maintenance, performance monitoring and system optimization.
