In addition to industry-leading fryers, Frymaster manufactures/designs commercial fryer filtration equipment (built-in and portable), foodservice equipment controllers, wireless communication modules, water-bath rethermalizers and pasta cookers. A key responsibility of this position is to directly manage the relationship aspects of the McDonald's account corporately and globally. This includes supporting the field sales organization in growing product sales by providing expert product, programs, application, technical support, and development of processes, training and programs to field personnel. Reporting directly to the VP Marketing, this position is based in Shreveport, LA, 180 miles east of Dallas, TX or may be based in Chicago, IL . Essential Job Functions *In conjunction with The Manitowoc Company (MTW) and Area of the World (AOW) McDonald's sales team and direct customer contact, analyzes McDonald's markets to determine product needs, volume potential, pricing and appropriate support; helps ensure Frymaster brand presence in McDonald's markets *Calls on McDonald's management representatives at corporate headquarters, AOW and regional offices, and franchisees to promote Frymaster products and services; participates in regional, corporate and international customer events *Proposes changes in equipment, processes or utilization of equipment or services that would result in cost reductions, improved store operations, or support McDonald's initiatives; leads Frymaster in responding to RFPs and developing new equipment *Negotiates pricing on new and existing equipment on a worldwide basis and ensures consistent pricing globally while accounting for differences in various market requirements, tariffs, freight, and any other specified variables *Coordinates internal department's (service, engineering, manufacturing, QA, senior management, etc) efforts for the purpose of responding fully and swiftly to perceived customer requirements; acts as the single point of contact within Frymaster for McDonald's globally *Trains and supports MTW AOW McDonald's sales team by providing hands-on training, sales tools, regular commercial and technical updates specific to Frymaster McDonald's approved equipment *Communicates regularly with Manitowoc and Frymaster leadership to keep informed of any McDonald's concerns or needs and ensures Frymaster, Manitowoc and McDonald's goals are aligned Job Requirements/Working Conditions Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years customer management experience required. Previous foodservice equipment experience or previous responsibility with McDonald's account management required. Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the normal work period both domestically and internationally. CFSP certification is required. If you do not hold this certification, you will be required to obtain it within the first nine months of employment. Individual must be creative with strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent communications and presentation skills.
