Manager – Finance recruitment

AOFM is an Australian Government agency that issues government securities and manages financial investments for the government.  The AOFM is a small agency where your contribution will be valued and rewarded.  The AOFM provides generous assistance for work-related study and professional development.

Role Overview: You will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the finance function.  The successful person will be responsible for managing budget and reporting processes and will develop relevant frameworks, policies and procedures to drive best practice in the finance function.  The incumbent will ensure that the AOFM gains maximum advantage from its specialist debt management and finance systems.

Qualifications: A degree qualification in a related field is mandatory (e.g. accounting, finance, commerce or business).  Membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. ICAA or ASCPA) is also expected.

Experience: It is expected that the person will possess extensive professional experience in a finance function.  This should include substantial experience in a financial reporting and budgeting, financial management, business analysis and business process design.  Demonstrable experience in SAP R/3 is desirable.
