Role
Working for this innovative banking organisation you will be responsible for leading a managers and a team who look after the reconciliation of customer transactions and suspense accounts relating to credit, loans and savings accounts.
You will ensure that the two teams (one focused on reconciling accounts and the other reconciling suspense accounts).
You will be responsible for drawing up the strategic plans and ensuring that these are within internal and external risk guidelines as well as then ensuring that these plans are carried out by the teams.
What We Are Looking For
You will ideally be a qualified accountant who has a strong track record with the back office processes within a retail banking organisation. You will be used to a shared service environment and have worked with operational teams across processing (such as BACS, CHAPS, Direct Debits and Faster Payments). You will be a strong manager who is used to challenging processes and driving and motivating large teams.
