Stora Enso Logistics is the shared transport and distribution organisation of Stora Enso. It is their task to design, procure and manage the solutions for transport, storage and distribution of the Group's products, and related information, that creates value for Stora Enso.
The logistic services are carried out by contracted transport suppliers (road hauliers, rail and shipping companies, terminal and port operators, IT service providers etc). Stora Enso Logistics employs approximately 150 people in its offices in Sweden, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Belgium and the UK.
On behalf of our client we are now looking for a Manager Financial Control to be placed in the company's head office in Gothenburg. The position will report to the Vice President of Administration and Control and be an active part in the Administration and Control management team.
Job description
- Establish, lead and develop the financial controlling function and its processes and routines incl. KPI:s, rolling forecast as well as cost optimization and improvements
- Responsible for the management and improvement of accounting, controlling general administrative processes
- Interface to group and business area controlling and accounting functions as well as to shared service centres involved in the finance administrative processes
- Coordinate general finance-administration
- Serve as financial expert and support in various areas
- Take part in ad hoc projects
- Staff responsibility
Requirements
- University on masters level in finance and/or accounting with 8-10 years of relevant work experience
- Solid financial knowledge and experience from accounting and controlling in an international group
- Ability and passion for bookkeeping and controlling in combination with a strategic ability and drive for improvement
- Hands on experience from IFRS principles
- Experience from optimization and realisation with the ability to challenge current processes
- High IT literacy and advanced user of SAP, Hyperion, data warehouse tools and MS office program, especially Excel
- Good leadership skills and ability to work in cross cultural and national environment
- Ability to structure processes and establish and maintain an administrative framework
- Process improvement interest
- Practical approach with high sense of urgency
- Flexible mindset with willingness to travel
