Manager, Financial Control recruitment
The Financial Control function is responsible for the integrity of the Group’s general ledgers, statutory and management reporting and preparation of budgets and forecasts. The purpose of this opening will be to support the Central Regulatory Reporting Function with all information relating to GCT liquidity data set.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
•Review the GCT movements on a daily basis for EMR reporting and to ensure that sufficient commentary is available to explain these movements.
•Review and provide sufficient detail for sign off of the daily GCT Summit data set.
•Prepare monthly reconciliations between Balance sheet and EMR for submission to the Central Regulatory Reporting team including commentary and analysis for variances.
•Arrange for appropriate sign offs for the reconciliation within group timelines.
•Preparation of the remote centres for GCT EMR.
•Communications and relationships with other departments in GCT using the liquidity information.
•Work with other stakeholders to prepare the GCT EMR on a daily,weekly monthly basis and document the processes involved in doing so.
•Implement controls as required to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly reconciliations complete with commentary and investigation of all major unexplained variances.
•Work with other members of the GCT Financial control team as required for the above delivery.

The Candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role held within an investment bank. The successful applicant will have a treasury product control background or extensive treasury product knowledge. Experience in FSA 047/048 are highly desirable.
