Manager – Financial Control, Ulster Bank Corporate recruitment

Our work requires an understanding of products, accounting operations and management information.
We’re looking for a Manager – Financial Control to be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely management information supporting the integrity of monthly financial information (balance sheet, profit and loss account and supporting data) consistent with Ulster Bank policies and procedures. You will also deliver management information supporting a substantiated and materially accurate Balance Sheet for Ulster Bank Corporate Market consistent with Ulster Bank policies and procedures.
The role involves participating in a team who are responsible for finance activity supporting £35bn of advances and £10bn of deposits with associated income in excess of £600m. All Financial reporting activity for these advances and deposits are coordinated and owned by the team.
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate:
- The you have recently qualified or are a part qualified Accountant
- Experience gained in a Big 4 audit environment or financial services industry
- Evidence of working to tight deadlines and managing key finance deliverables
- Evidence of problem-solving skills in a diverse range of financial accounting issues
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
- Strong technical accounting skills
