applications. The Manager of Financial Information combines expertise of several business and technical process areas with knowledge of Oracle Hyperion software products. The Manager of Financial Information interacts with divisional management at the Department and Director levels, making recommendations for applying technology to financial data collection, consolidation and reporting problems.
- Specific knowledge of current Hyperion software products, including Planning, BI, Essbase, Shared Services, and SDQM.
- Experience should include a minimum of successful IT Finance experience designing and developing financial applications using Hyperion software.
- CPA and/or CMA is desired.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Desire to grow professionally with an interest in a company.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally and written, effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and has the ability to manager concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated coaching, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective leadership and ability to influence others.
- Strong Microsoft Excel work skills required; Access is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of management experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of Finance experience.
- Successful candidate must possess a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance or relvant area of focus.
- Support the Corporate Financial system which is comprised of multiple Oracle Hyperion software products working in coordination, providing global financial data collection, validation, consolidation, and reporting functionality.
- Work within established systemized change control processes to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley, audit requirements and data security / viability. Amend and enhance change control processes as required.
- Provide consulting support in the design and spec development of new Oracle / Hyperion applications. Develop new Hyperion applications per customer specifications. Serve as Project Manager implementing approved projects.
- Implement process improvement strategies to drive improved efficiencies and lower cost leveraging lean principles and other tools.
- Execute on strategies to develop and strengthen customer relationships and deliver on customer expectations.
- Monitor financial software developments related to consolidation, analysis, reporting, system integration, and business intelligence.
