Specifically we are looking for a Manager to help expand our Performance Improvement practice, with a specific focus on the insurance industry. Key service offerings of the Performance Improvement practice include: CRM, core insurance operational improvements, performance management, compliance and controls, and program management

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility will be managing delivery of our engagements, and also to assist in business practice development.

Delivery and practice development:

• On the job senior management level client engagement
• Act as ‘subject matter expert’ provide quality professional technical advice
• Lead medium size engagements
• Project management

Business practice development:

• Design, develop and deliver quality proposals tailored to clients needs
• Develop high-performing teams across the firm through strong supervision, coaching, collaboration networking
• Develop and promote EY solutions and thought leadership, based on in depth knowledge of the industry and EY service lines
• Maintain and develop client relationships at senior manager levels

Requirements:

• Recognized university Bachelor Degree, plus recognized post graduate qualification (eg Masters, Doctorate, or professional qualification)
• Minimum of 8 years working experience, with at least 5 years in the insurance industry
• Evidence of strong performance and career promotion to date
• Experience should include business transformation, performance improvement, process improvement, with exposure or qualification in recognized methodologies (eg six sigma)
• Prior experience in a business consulting role with a leading consultancy firm, or project management role within an insurance company will be an advantage
• Functional expertise in core insurance operations, finance, or internal audit
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Significant travel within Asia may be required (eg at least 20-30% of the time)
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for corresponding Senior Manager level positions within the practice
