KPMG’s Financial Services professionals assist leading financial institutions in various business improvement projects including strategic transformation, feasibility studies, channel management, business architecture and IT architecture review, in-sourcing and outsourcing.

Openings are available for a Manager with the relevant experience. The successful candidate will be: 

• establishing long term relationships with key stakeholders externally and within the firm

• identifying and developing new business opportunities in the region either through direct customers or our appointed agents 

• supporting the formulation of direction and strategy for the management consultancy

• maintaining client relationship management systems

• keeping abreast with current market information related to the financial services industry

• supporting  the Financial Services Director in other duties as required

The ideal candidate should:

• possess a degree in a Business / Marketing discipline or equivalent;

• have at least 6 to 8 years of experience in the financial services industry e.g. Finance, Banking, Fund Management and/or Insurance

• have an established network of contacts within the financial services industry

• have a proven ability in defining opportunities and identifying problems, with a 'can-do' attitude

• have a proactive work style, confident, energetic and a self-motivator with a strong focus on achieving goals

• possess strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to contribute to a constantly evolving business environment

• be capable of evaluating and decision-making with minimal instruction

• be results-oriented with strong business acumen, leadership, organisational and planning skills.

• have the ability to plan and organise meetings, trips and conferences

• have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills as well as business ethics and integrity.
