Manager – Fund Accountant recruitment

Our client is the premier established investment management firm with aggressive expansion in the region for APAC. Due to the continued growth of the fund management industry in Asia, they now seek a dynamic individual to join them as a fund accountant.
You review books of accounts for the holding and property companies under the fund structure as per applicable IFRS / GAAP to enable calculation of monthly NAV. Consolidated IFRS reporting package and annual accounts for statutoty audit. You ensure all regulatory time lines related to financial results are met. Coordinate with the investment manager / fund accounting agency for timely accurate reporting.
Coordinate with service provider for VAT / GST and corporate tax filing. Relationship management with auditors, Trust accountants, tax agents and overseas offices. Timely and zero error MI to senior management
You are a finance/accounting graduate with 5 - 8 years experience in a similar capacity. Good working knowledge of asset management products and international accounting standards (GAP/IFRS) would also be desirable. You are independent, proactive and a team player. Good communication and interpersonal skills will be essential.
