Manager, Global Briefing Programs

Primary Responsibility: Responsible for leading, designing, executing and managing the overall strategy and development of the Global Briefing Program, including the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) and all Customer Briefing Centers (CBC) globally. The incumbent will be expected to establish programs and an interactive customer forum that provide world class customer experiences and contribute to the Company?s revenue objectives. Specific Duties: Design, manage and execute the Briefing Program strategy : Develop strong partnerships with Senior Management, Solutions Management, Product Management, Sales and Corporate Marketing, in addition to external experts and consultants to design and create the Executive Briefing Center strategy and objectives; Develop processes to ensure quality briefings while measuring the program?s performance against established goals; Collaborate with stakeholders on content development; Conduct needs assessments and work with Sales personnel to develop a customized briefing; Market the Briefing program internally and externally ensuring the appropriate promotion through different vehicles; Provide direction to Sales on how to engage a customer for a briefing; Plan and execute briefings for the purpose of listening to the customer, providing the best experience and opening the opportunity to sell solutions; Host briefings and act as an additional facilitator during briefings; Develop speakers across the Company, ensuring all are trained and certified as Facilitators; and Coordinate Briefing Program Advisory Council meetings. Work closely with the Global Real Estate (GRE) group to lead and manage the construction of new Customer Briefing Centers. Provide for the communication with the various geographic regions as well as a timely accomplishment of commitments. Lead cross-functional teams from Solutions, RD, product groups, external design consultants and space designers to ensure the Company?s products/ solution/ applications are showcased to the best advantage. Develop the strategy for refreshing/ updating current Customer Briefing Centers in conjunction with Solutions Directors and Local Sales Managers. Compile, analyze and manage reporting of all significant metrics for the program, including usage statistics and trends, evaluation scores, internal and external customer feedback. Closely liaise with Solution Teams, Marketing and Sales personnel to ensure the follow up to the customer?s needs. Present Program status to Advisory Council in a periodic basis to ensure the Program effectiveness. Lead, coach, manage and provide direction to assigned personnel. Provide for full understanding of group mission, goals/ objectives and individual roles. Build and maintain an effective staff. Skills, Training, Experience Required: BS/BA Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field; MBA preferred 10+ plus years of experience in marketing, business or sales, preferably within the industry, with an emphasis in event, trade show or program management Ideally, minimum 3-5 years in a briefing center environment Demonstrated ability to develop marketing and sales strategies while consistently driving tactical activities Solid understanding of brand strategy and its relationship to the overall end-user experience Strong understanding (or the capacity to do so) of Panduit?s products Capable of leading/ working closely with cross-functional global teams with an awareness of cultural norms Excellent Communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) Program management, negotiation and influencing skills Networking industry knowledge Excellent Problem solving skills Strong logic and analytical skills, with the ability to make solid business decisions
