Manager, Group Financial Reporting

The role will be as part of the team responsible for preparing:

• Group’s consolidated financial reporting, including report and accounts, press releases and US reporting;

• Statutory accounts and results announcements; and

• Statutory internal reporting packs for the key subsidiaries.

 

The job holder will assist:

• In the smooth running of the Group’s financial consolidation on a quarterly basis for the purposes of external statutory reporting, this includes preparing detailed statutory disclosures and internal analyses;

• With the production of internal statutory reporting packs for the key subsidiaries, which provide analytics and insights on the key drivers of underlying performance;

• With ad-hoc tasks concerning financial reporting (for example assisting Investor Relations with technical queries); and

• With the various change programmes currently faced by Finance, for example Finance Transformation.

 

Skills

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with some appropriate post-qualification experience, up-to-date financial accounting

knowledge and an understanding of the theory and practicalities of financial consolidations.

The job holder will also be highly computer literate and have strong interpersonal skills, able to be a dynamic team member in a very high pressure environment and have a track record of delivering on tasks outside of their core responsibilities.
