Position Overview
The Senior Manager Enterprise Business Intelligence Systems will manage full life cycle functional and application aspects and deliverables for implementations upgrades assessments and integration projects. Provide senior management level interpersonal customer interaction manage stakeholder expectations and perform the duties and responsibilities to meet deliverables and milestones for projects under their management responsibility. Provide experience with Business Intelligence capabilities to help customers address their complex business intelligence and data analytics challenges - from enterprise value maximization and business case development to program management and system configuration. Produce deliverables such as defining BI systems strategy developing BI systems requirements designing and prototyping development system testing training defining support procedures and practical BI solutions under multiple deadlines.

Actively participates in the thought leadership of the senior IT team.
DW/BI Functional Leadership: Provides technical leadership and direction for the Business Intelligence environment including solution analysis design implementation integration and general system maintenance. Ensure that the BI best practices are followed. Advise the business on alternative solutions to ensure that the BI program goals are accomplished in line with the business objectives. Works closely with Internal Audit to ensure that the process and controls are defined and executed to achieve our SOX 404 and 302 compliance goals. Monitors and leads current year compliance efforts. Evaluates and implements automated solutions for SOX control compliancy; makes SOX 404 part of the operating environment not adjunct manual processes and controls.
Fiscal Responsibility: Develop and manage to budget; actively review and forecast financial impact of organization against the budget. Must actively manage suppliers of hardware software and services. Actively negotiate/renegotiate contracts to ensure that we achieve *most favored nation* terms and conditions and make informed buying decisions. Leverage industry trends and solutions that will help achieve best in class cost leadership. Exploit synergies across the organization and persuades others to implement new ideas to the benefit of the business. Drives for industry leading IT Expense to Revenue ratios.
General Leadership: Thinks and operate across multiple dimensions (strategic commercial technical organizational and time) to plan assess and reach conclusions. Takes accountability for achieving results; makes things happen. Keeps momentum going over time despite setbacks showing resilience in the face of challenges while looking for ways to beat previous standards. Evaluate risks benefits and technical implications of various options/solutions within ones field.
Customer Alignment Communication: Develop a close partnering with internal customers such that the solutions anticipate their needs. Manage conflicting strategic priorities and multiple opportunities to find the best way of creating long term portfolio success. Coordinate with customers setting the appropriate expectations and delivering against those expectations. Establish and maintain open communication with key customers.
