Manager II, Human Resources
HR Business Partner for an employee population of approximately 500 Finance and Information Technology professionals located mainly in Dallas and Greenville, TX. The candidate filling this role will need to partner with the various client groups in order to achieve business objectives and implement initiatives to support the strategic direction of the functions. This will require the HR Business Partner filling this role to become involved in all HR related decisions, including Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and more. The HR Business Partner will also need to coordinate with the functional HR Managers in the Corporate Office to develop and execute the annual merit cycle, executive bonus planning (RBI), performance awards, and stock options. This position reports to the Corporate HR Finance lead.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years applicable experience, including 5-7 years as an HR Generalist
- Experience conducting employee investigations, completing affirmative action plans, training and development
- Ability to multitask while working in a fast paced environment
- Experience as an HR strategic business partner with demonstrated success in driving business results
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment, demonstrated collaboration skills
- Strong change management skills and the ability to partner with leaders to lead change
- Experience in handling and leading multiple projects
- Strong business acumen and diverse business perspective
- Solid computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field
Desired Skills:
- HRM Certificate
- HR Management experience in the defense industry
- Experience and understanding of a wide array of Human Resources management systems and tools, including talent and performance management, compensation, and rewards systems (PeopleSoft, Cognos Impromptu, etc.)
Desired Education:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management or related field
