Job Description: The Deputy Program Manager serves as alternate point of contact with the Sponsor, in the absence of the Program Manager, for organizing, coordinating, directing, and planning the work activities of Contractor and Subcontractor personnel. Assists in communicating policies, procedures, and goals to team members. Performs quality control audits and other analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper usage of processes and procedures. Ensure accurate, appropriate and effective use of data for critical path, risk, trend and Earned Value analysis. Assist in the oversight and preparation of contract deliverables, monitoring of program metrics, tracking progress toward program milestones and other project duties as assigned. Required Skills: Clearance required : Top Secret / SCI w Polygraph . Minimum of 8-10 years of recent experience in the Intelligence Community . Strong leadership and communications skills, including negotiations experience. Demonstrated experience developing staff and work plans, developing schedules and managing budgets/resources Proven ability to manager subcontractors in an IDIQ environment. Experience managing technical, IT, or deliverable type programs. Proficient in MS Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel. Desired Skills: PMP certification - or the willingness to acquire PMP certification upon acceptance Prior experience with large-scale systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and operational support contracts. Proven ability to establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization, including customers, prime contractor organizations, internal management, and support organizations Strong leadership and communication skills, including negotiations experience Required Education (including Major): BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. Advanced degree desired.
