Manager, International Business Centre (IBC) recruitment

You will be part of a dynamic team acquiring profitable new to bank customers through the active cross-selling the bank’s products and services. The Manager (IBC) is expected to be effective in the role to achieve strong impact on customer satisfaction and positive perception of the bank through the following responsibilities:

• Proactively work on referrals received from HSBC Group offices and direct sales activities to acquire new to Bank customers.
• Achieve acquisition target numbers by utilising existing referral channels (both internal and external) and successfully converting such referrals.
• Facilitate outbound referrals and provide appropriate overseas IBC contacts to CMB Relationship Managers.
• Perform due diligence and checks for all new to bank clients, as part of the account opening process to secure compliance with Know your Customer (KYC), HKMA and local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure credit applications are of high quality, risks are properly assessed and all proposals submitted in a timely fashion.

Skills/Attributes

• Minimally Degree holder with two years of relevant experience.
• Good working knowledge full range of commercial banking products and services, including of investment and insurance products would be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and customer servicing skills.
• Possess lots of initiative, drive and pride in getting the job done, the right way, the first time.
• Cohesive team player with a positive "can-do" attitude.
