Manager – International Consultancy -BJ/SH recruitment
Candidates will conduct the following activities on a day-to-day basis.
- Manage a team to effectively deliver solutions for clients. The solutions could be models, various types of reports and analyses, and other consulting services, such as framework for enhancing credit/market risk related processes.
- Leading the credit/market risk model development, validation and calibration, and other quantitative and qualitative analysis for credit/market risk assessment. This includes developing new approaches and ideas to fit client needs.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of deliverables that the team provided. The deliverables could be model prototypes, presentations of the project results, or all materials to clients.
- Be the lead to provide effective project management.
- Working closely with client engagement team and sales team, including developing and presenting pre-sales materials and client proposals.
Candidates will have:
- A master degree in quantitative financing, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field; Ph.D. is a major plus.
- Strong knowledge of the capital and credit markets and financial products. Banking/consulting background preferred.
- Major experience in corporate credit risk management, economic capital and portfolio management.
- Experience with corporate credit risk scorecard development
- Expert in Basel II guidelines.
- Excellent client service orientation, previous consulting experience is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of MS Access, SAS, or similar data management and statistical programming software.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Strong communication skills both in writing and speaking.
- High-level regional financial institution contacts and/or banking experience a major plus.
Strong project management skills, relationship management skills and analytical abilities essential.
- Familiarity with IFR and accounting principles suggested.
- May require over 25% travel, with the potential for international travel.
