Manager, International Tax Planning Job in St. Louis, Missouri Us

Basic Responsibilities and Objectives Include:

·  Conduct research to support tax planning and risk management strategies.

·  Prepare calculations to quantify tax benefits and risks as directed.

·  Interact with outside consultants to secure and apply advice.

·  Participate in due diligence and tax structuring of merger and acquisition activity.

·  Conduct analysis of internal restructurings with respect to global tax and transfer pricing implications.

·  Participate in the review of division transfer pricing procedures and conformity to organizational policies.

·  Assist with preparation of U.S. tax reporting forms with respect to international operations.

·  Support the federal tax group with respect to information required for IRS examinations.

·  Participate in the preparation and analysis of the quarterly financial statement tax reserves.

·  Assist in the establishment and monitoring of tax policies related to foreign operations.

·  Provide on-call assistance to divisions with respect to international tax issues.

·  Assist with tax aspects of cross-border treasury operations.

·  Conduct analysis of legislative and regulatory developments impacting tax position.

·  Assist in the development and delivery of international tax education within organization.

 
Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required - supplemental Law Degree a plus

·  Certified Public Accountant required

·  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access

·  Experience with preparation of U.S. tax reporting forms for international tax activity required

·  Minimum 5-7 years tax experience with CPA firm and/or Fortune 500 company with substantial direct activity outside United States required
