Manager, International Trade Services recruitment
Responsibilities:
- To assist Head of ITS to oversee the trade service operation including structured trade transactions with high efficiency and accuracy
- Provide day-to-day production or operational management for one or more product lines offered by the letters of credit and collections group.
- Establish and monitor daily work quotas, resolve work related problems, supervise the daily work flow and provide technical guidance and training to the staff.
- To liaise with the customers in the Bank’s interest and improve Client servicing satisfaction
- To lead and train junior staff(s) with the ability to create successful backup
- Take lead in project and support change initiatives
- Think creatively in developing new ideas and approaches
- Challenge the status quo and making significant improvements in products, processes and services
- Identify and assess risk. Being decisive and knowing when to take calculated risks, upholding the Company’s reputation.
Requirements:
- Degree Holder
- Subject matter expert in Trade Service Operations with minimum 10 years experiences in letters of credit, documentary collections operations, especially about global trade and commodity financing practice under ICC UCP Publication, market standard documentation via both paper-based or electronic issuance and exchange
- Exposure in trade finance related system, upgrade and/or enhancement project with knowledge of electronic banking solutions
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure, independent, good analytical-mind.
- Good presentation skills.
- PC skills of MS Office
- Language: English and Cantonese (both spoken and written); Mandarin (spoken only)
