Manager Investment Administration recruitment
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Oversight and Control of the allocated operational teams
All derivative processing and position management.
All new and emerging market investigation and regular reviews.
Quasar pricing and security set-up processes.
Control of all pre and post settlement issues.
Risk Management (procedures, controls and compliance)
Identify and use Key Risk Indicators (measurable characteristic of a business process) and coordinate appropriate and regular management reporting.
Organisation of team responsibilities, team meetings, training, appraisals and recruitment
Operate department in a performance management environment, including bi-annual appraisals, team building, staff development and recruitment.
Provide coaching and training to direct reports as appropriate, in order to meet individual training and development requirements.
Chair service reviews ensuring that all meetings are fully documented and allocate actions progressed.
Represent operations management on new system implementations and upgrades.
Investment Administration process improvement
Person Specification:
Managerial attributes.
Previous experience of derivatives processes and related position management covering both Exchange Traded and Over the Counter products
Previous experience of investment markets including new market investigation techniques, settlement processes and operational/settlement risks
An understanding of settlement issues and the related risks.
Strong technical skills, across a wide range of markets and instrument types, coupled with a good understanding of all operational areas
