Our client is the leading Australian sports agency, and amongst other functions, it funds and consults to the agencies that represent the various sporting disciplines in Australia. This agency is developing a plan to increase Australia’s international sporting performance through developing a rigorous framework for funding, developing and monitoring accountabilities for various sporting bodies. This initiative has prompted the establishment of a Performance Investment team.
People within this agency include, ex Olympians, current athletes and peak performance coaches.
You will have access to world class sports facilities which are shared by national sports teams and Australia’s developing athletes.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of the Performance Investment team your role will be diverse and include: Leading and directing the investment process including assisting its growth; Developing and managing the models and frameworks to assist investment decisions; Developing and managing key performance intelligence for each sport down to the individual athlete level; Ad hoc strategic assignments; Developing internal and external relationships.
To be considered you will likely have 4-10 years experience developed within corporate advisory, investment banking, management consulting, corporate development and strategy. You will have exceptional excel and analytical skills and ability to drive stakeholder relationships.
