Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Manager to join us in the Houston office.

KPMGs Market Risk professionals deliver risk management services that can help organizations manage a broad array of market exposures, increase operational efficiency, improve organizational processes, and enhance operational efficiency. You will work alongside team members possesses extensive trading, hedging, treasury, capital markets, and risk management experience; and they are supported by our internal valuation and risk measurement professionals who add critical quantitative and modeling skills to each engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage energy risk management engagements related to front, middle, and back office operations
- Review and document energy processes including the identification of internal control weaknesses
- Analyze and assess activities related to energy companies, including targeting services to clients based on pre-existing client relationships, directing client needs assessments, targeting prospective engagements, developing proposals, and negotiating project contracts
- Develop and support risk management models for use in the production of client deliverables
- Write and present to clients clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful recommendations and participate in the proposal process for potential engagements
- Capitalize on leadership development and market visibility opportunities and membership and visibility in professional associations

Qualifications:
- Ten years of relevant experience in other advisory services practice and prior industry experience preferred
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
- Experience with risk management processes, policies, and methodologies
- Demonstrate proficient understanding of end-to-end energy trading processes and demonstrated high level of understanding of clients' business
- Strong client service skills and the ability to execute an engagement and demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate with client
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and superior quantitative and analytical skills
