Manager Lake Concession Job in Joelton, Tennessee Us

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is now accepting resumes for the concessionaire contract at Marrowbone Lake in Joelton, Tennessee.  This position is a contract position between the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the chosen concessionaire.  The contract is usually set up as a multi-year contract.  Marrowbone Lake is a public fishing lake owned and operated by the TWRA.  The concessionaire operates out of a small concession building beside Marrowbone Lake.  The concessionaire will be required to sell the appropriate fishing licenses and permits.  The concessionaire gets a percentage of the revenue from fishing permit sales and boat rental permit sales.  The concessionaire is required to sell fishing bait and fishing tackle.  Most concessionaires also provide snacks, drinks, ice and other supplies that may bring revenue to the concessionaire.  There will be no rent, but the concessionaire is responsible for the utilities.  Hours of operation are from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset.  From March 1 through October 31, the concessionaire or an employee of the concessionaire is required to be on duty during the hours of operation.  From November 1 through February 28, it will be the concessionaire’s discretion whether or not to open the concession, but the entrance gates must be monitored.  The concessionaire may also be required to weigh and measure fish on specific days stated by the TWRA.  Those interested please send resumes to the following address.
