Manager, Local Settlement, Operations
Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day operational issue and resolve all problematic transactions on Operations.
· Work closely with internal and external parties, such as Client Services, Sales, Central Depository to provide high service level to clients.
· To ensure all settlement operations are running in accordance with the rules laid down in the Departmental Operating Instructions Manual at all times.
· Manage and avoid risk to client and Bank and ensure prompt and accurate reporting to clients.
· Identify training needs for team development
· Monitor off-shore team performance and follow up all services issues identified.
· Work together with other departments in the Bank for system and operating procedures enhancement
Qualifications
· University graduate with a solid working experience in Local settlement process in CCASS and CMU.
· Strong operations background in both settlement and corporate actions for local market
· Good logical judgement is required for performing day-to-day activities.
· Understanding of operations and market practice, rules and regulations in local securities market
· Experience in handling and monitoring of corporate actions activities.
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Good understanding of securities products.
· Strong risk awareness and problem solving skill.
