Manager, Marketing Communications


Marketing Business Unit

Tasks:
- Collaborates with appropriate personnel to execute Marketing
Communications strategies that advertise the Company's new and existing
products or services across all media.
- Manages the creative development of all marketing tactics for each
marketing campaign and program, including direct mail, brochures, web
content, sales letters, flyers, newsletters, newspaper and radio
advertising, and other projects.
- Consults with Director regarding strategy, content, design, and
production of all marketing materials and is responsible for ensuring
accuracy of content before being communicated.
- Provides leadership and direction to Marketing Communications
personnel, and develops and implements appropriate methods, practices,
policies to guide work.
- Serves as liaison between Marketing Communications and Public
Relations (and additional necessary parties) to ensure project goals,
timelines, and budget parameters are maintained. Ensures key Marketing
Communications programs are communicated both internally and externally.
- Develops and implements mechanisms for response analysis to determine
ROI on selected campaigns and programs.
- Partners with media services to develop relevant media plans for each
Marketing Communications programs to help drive retention and
acquisition.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing the development of indirect advertising campaigns that seek to achieve subscriber and revenue goals. Will lead the execution of all retail and etail communications and will be responsible for delivering all materials needed to launch advertising initiatives across all retail and etail partners. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to prioritize multiple high profile initiatives simultaneously.
Core responsibilities:
-Manage advertising agency relationship and ensure retail/etail campaigns launch on time with the following criteria: accommodate all product offerings, aligns with messaging priorities, follows messaging and brand guidelines, legally compliant.

-Lead indirect marketing communication strategy to consistently bring new and innovative ideas to the retail and etail environments.

-Ensure excellent advertising execution and fulfillment across all media (Digital Signage, POS, online assets, call centers, etc.)

-Oversee all indirect sales collateral and sales tool development for sales force training in retail and call center environments.

-Communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment between brand-building, product positioning, and sales objectives.

-Work closely with product marketing, field retail reps and sales teams to ensure executional excellence against all sales objectives.

-Work closely with legal to ensure compliance of all retail/etail communications.

-Manage indirect messaging/brand guidelines and coordinate with Marcom team members to ensure consistency.

-Audit store, call center and etail sites to ensure compliance with corporate plan-o-grams.

-Manage indirect advertising budget across multiple agencies and vendors.

Required Skills:

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Communications / Public Relations

- Generally requires 6-9 years related experience
-Experience in the development of advertising campaigns and project management.
-Knowledge of broadcast and print production.
-Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
-Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
-Excellent problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
