The Amazon Appstore is looking for an experienced manager to own implementation of our strategy for processing, publishing, and maintaining digital content consumed by Amazon?s mobile customers. As the Manager, Content Operations, you will help evolve the policies, organizational structure, processes, and systems required to manage our mobile content operation as we continue to grow. You will recruit and manage the team required to implement the strategy and processes. Above all, you will ensure we protect Amazon?s high quality mobile customer experience and provide an efficient and transparent experience for our mobile content providers. Role Responsibilities: As the Manager, Mobile Content Operations, you will: Evolve the policies for processing, publishing, and maintaining digital content consumed by Amazon?s mobile customers Optimize processes for adding new digital content quickly, while ensuring the content meets Amazon?s high quality bar and follows Amazon?s policies Manage the publishing cycle to ensure high quality detail pages and a minimized cycle time Build systems to effectively screen and manage updates from developers Specify requirements for the technological systems and tools required to support the mobile content operations strategy Manage the mobile content operations team to meet our selection expansion, quality, and service level goals Partner with the mobile technology team to build required tools and systems Partner with other Amazon groups as necessary to implement the strategy and manage exception processes Manage analytics to measure critical metrics against internal and external benchmarks; develop new metrics as needed Above all, protect and enhance Amazon?s mobile customer experience
