Manager – MyBank recruitment

EBA CLEARING was established in June 1998 by 52 major European and international banks with the mission to own and operate the EURO1 large-value payment system. Today, EBA CLEARING counts 66 shareholder banks and, through its EURO1, STEP1 and STEP2 systems, offers payment infrastructure services for the processing of both individual and mass transactions to a wide community of banks across Europe. EBA CLEARING is the leading private provider of euro clearing services, and is developing further activities in the field of payments.

The post

EBA CLEARING is currently working on the implementation of MyBank, a pan-European Online Banking e-Payment (OBeP) solution. MyBank will make it easier and safer to sell and buy over the Internet. It will enable customers to pay for their online purchases via their regular online banking environment: they will simply have to select the MyBank button among the payment methods offered by their e-merchant and are then redirected to their PSP’s online banking portal, where they can directly initiate a SEPA Credit Transfer or authorise an e-mandate for a SEPA Direct Debit.

For the implementation of this new service, we are looking for a pro-active, co-operative and communicative manager with a previous experience in project roll-out. You will be part of a team responsible for managing the pan-European launch of this online payment service. You will closely work together with all team members and report to the Project Manager.

Your main responsibilities will consist of:

• assisting the project team in collecting and analysing business requirements;

• drafting and preparing project documentation such as functional specifications;

• supporting the organisation of working group meetings involving banks and other external stakeholders;

• preparing and giving presentations to banks and industry bodies as well as at external conferences;

• liaising with technical providers for the delivery and the maintenance of the technical infrastructure;

• contributing to other project work as required, such as answering customer queries and supporting internal briefing sessions;

Profile

The successful candidate will

• have excellent spoken and written English skills and a confident manner – any additional European languages would be an asset;

• have gained excellent relevant work experience in a support environment (minimum two years) as a member of a project management department of a bank or payment service provider or of an e-commerce company,  provider or system integrator;

• be familiar with online payment methods and e-commerce activities;

• be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

• be an individual with commitment, initiative and problem-solving skills.

• be dynamic, pro-active, a team-player and enjoy working in a multicultural team and communicating with a varied multinational audience;

• have a good knowledge of Internet and security standards including HTTP, XML, SOAP and WS-Security;

• have a good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Before applying for this position, which is based in Paris (France) or Brussels (Belgium), please ensure that you are already authorised to work in the European Union.

If you think you meet the above required qualifications and skills, if you are entrepreneurial, are willing to develop your career in a challenging and international environment, with enticing compensation benefits, and if you want to work for a company that plays a key role in expanding pan-European payment infrastructures, we invite you to send your application for the attention of:
