The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network Activity and Communications, you will be responsible for the development (and execution) of marketing, communications, plan content and CFP's broader business initiatives.
You will:
- Draft key messages and associated material for EMs and the GM CFP (and facilitating approval processes with key stakeholders).
- Maintain CFP's network activity schedule.
- Maintain and enhance CFP's intranet site in order to promote greater engagement with the planners.
- Assist planners in the fulfillment of LAM and corporate merchandise requests.
- Assist planners with preparing and maintaining relevant marketing collateral.
- Assist in the planning and logistics of BAU events/off-sites.
- Assist in the central coordination of seminars (OGS seminars amongst others).
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of CFP collateral.
- Analyse and interpret results from key CFP campaigns.
- Champion and monitor CFP's social media activity (particularly on chatter).
- Monitor CFP's email inbox and assign emails to relevant parties.
- Ensure marketing activities are conducted in accordance with Law and Group Policy.
- Report and manage issues arising from marketing initiatives.
- Ensure marketing and communications are approved by all relevant parties before they are published.
- Undertake any other tasks as required that you have the capability to perform safely.
Your skills and experience:
- 3+ years' experience working in marketing and communications (essential).
- Experience working in a team that coordinated LAM and sponsorship initiatives and managed events and campaign execution (both above and below the line including data driven marketing) (desirable)
- Experience working in the Australian financial services industry, preferably within the wealth management arm of a major retail bank (desirable)
