We are currently seeking a Manager of Asset Management for our client, the Mackay Regional Council. Our client serves a community of over 100,000 residents, in a region that has experienced significant population and economic growth over recent years.
The Manager of Asset Management is responsible for co-ordinating development and the implementation of strategic asset management systems and practices for the Mackay Regional Council.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Asset Management Program and lead the Asset Management team
Assist the Executive Manager Governance to develop a performance and service orientated culture within the Program.
Design and implement council-wide strategic Asset Management Frameworks. Develop and implement KPI’s and monitoring frameworks.
Contribute to the development of policy and strategic directions consistent with the Corporate and Operational Plans to Council.
Create a positive environment where Program members can achieve and maintain high performance.
Experience required: Relevant tertiary qualifications
Substantial experience in the development of asset management strategy and delivery of asset management programs
Substantial experience of management of asset management programs in a large and complex organisation
