Manager of Broadcast and Multimedia Services Job in New Yor 10027, New York US
Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism is currently seeking a MANAGER OF BROADCAST AND MULTIMEDIA SERVICES. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Technology, the incumbent plans and oversees the implementation and maintenance of all broadcast and multimedia technologies serving the needs of the academic and administrative entities affiliated with the Graduate School of Journalism. The incumbent works with the Assistant Dean of Technology on strategic planning and budgeting for the division.
He/she sets direction and vision for technology evolution of radio and television broadcast facilities. Researches technology and partners with members of faculty and administration to plan and specify future enhancements to broadcast technology infrastructure and capabilities. Fosters technical team development, sets policies and manages technical staff responsible for broadcast technology support, multimedia support and equipment room operations. Works with Assistant Dean of Technology and technical staff to develop annual budget and oversees portion of budget that deals with broadcast and multimedia equipment.
Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required, as well as minimum of 4 years of related experience
